Problem:
NYU had been using the same document imaging provider for several years and began to experience a significant backlog. This was impacting their daily operation in that they could not retrieve documents from their Web site and had to request manual access to the paper from the provider. This was slow and costly to NYU. In addition, the indexing provided was becoming inadequate as NYU changed their systems to meet new departmental requirements.

A service level agreement (SLA) was established to insure that NYU would stay current with their imaging going forward.
